I know what you mean. At some point I was basically addicted to watching them and suffering badly. I especially liked the coming of age ones so I was reminded of how much I missed out at youth.

why watch something so mundane? literally dramatizing the utterly forgettable and meaningless lives of billions of oofy doofy providerbuxers on this planet. in these movies the male characters literally never occupy a masculine role in society. they're usually some artists, writer, or something gay like that

The movie in question when I made this thread had a chill masc lead. He didn’t try like those gay characters or anything and it was ultra realistic
