..which reminds me of a story. During the height of austerity measures, people were really mad at him for his stance against Greece. So to neg him, people were spamming that he was fucking a married woman, and the husband caught them during the act, and put a beating on him that was so bad that he ended up in a wheelchair. And for some reason, many people actually believed it, myself included.

I don't know what was the right thing to do, but I know they did a 180 as soon as they got elected and changed their entire narrative. Their complete snubbing of the 2015 referendum results makes them seem like populist vote merchants. Anyways, they got punished really hard in the latest elections and I don't think they will ever rebound so that chapter is closed.
