Why won’t people stop hinting to me that they’re lonely and want to hang out? - AlbanianLegend1994 - 02-12-2023 I think it’s because they sense that I’m immune to loneliness (and actually want nothing more than to be left alone) “I’m going to this concert and I have no one to go with… so yeah.” -my autistic coworker (I ended up going with him) “There’s this new Mexican restaurant I want to try, but I have no one to go with” -my other coworker (I will go with her next weekend) And just now I was at my barber who has hinted to me many times he wants to get to know me outside of work too, and I usually change the topic but today I decided to go with it. I told him I’m going to a Christmas market with some friends today and he was like “oh that sounds nice, I would love to go there too.” I told him “if you decide to go tomorrow, I can go again with you.” He’s a chad lite dark blonde blue eyed Lebanese man who is 34, divorced and has two kids. He was so happy when I invited him and then he was telling me stuff like “you’re more comfortable now without girlfriend, yes?” I wonder if he’s closeted gay RE: Why won’t people stop hinting to me that they’re lonely and want to hang out? - AlbanianLegend1994 - 21-01-2024 (02-12-2023, 06:04 PM)AlbanianLegend1994 Wrote: And just now I was at my barber who has hinted to me many times he wants to get to know me outside of work too, and I usually change the topic but today I decided to go with it. One thing I will miss though is the spontaneity of experiences that resulted from me just aimlessly wandering in nightlife areas |
