psychoactive drugs effect on naive people - unethicalman - 01-12-2023 Its always easy to spot naive people whenever talking about psychedelics because they will use vocabulary which suggests that they "discovered" something. Its always the same stories about being able to see into different dimensions or feel the flow of interdimensional blah blah. Whenever these people are talking about their experiences they will refuse to elaborate if asked about why they think their discovery is real (it just felt that way for them at the time). welcome to earth idiot. The "profound" feeling that you get while "discovering" the meaning of the universe is a potent effect of almost all psychedelics and has no direct correlation with whatever you are experiencing. your lack of understanding and inability to distinguish between these shows that you are naive as hell and should've never ever been near psychedelics in your life. You are just the kind of person who people refer to when they're talking about the risks of the drug. You've possibly ruined yourself for life and everyone you talk to see you as insane (you technically are) Ive seen countless tiktoks about people claiming to have discovered something and their mindless hordes in the comment section. Also LOL at tiktok witches. Even more retarded than astrology hoes. People also tend to have "great ideas" while drunk or high on marijuana, but they quickly realise that they were just being stupid once they've sobered up. But psychdelics give a stronger sensation of profoundness; so, when people have "great ideas" while on psychedelics, they tend to continue to believe in their stupid ideas long after they've sobered up. Psychdelics just mimic the feeling of having a "huge realisation", without actually providing anything of value. I experienced this firsthand while on shrooms, and the experience was pretty lame once I realised that the drug was just causing my mind to get flooded with junk-ideas masquerading as something important. But yes, solipsism is a known side effect atleast for the duration of the trip. Funny thing is actual Buddhist meditative practices will put you into a much stronger solipsistic non-dual state. I find the "we are all one" talk way more cringy than any solipsistic god-complex delusion tho. The former just strikes me as incredibly disingenous and sappy as compared to the latter. |
