Just do pushups, read books, go outside and run/walk 10 km /day, socialize, pursue career

Then come back in 6 months and discuss how our life is now compared to back then.

i hate  it that writing your notes, reminders and work in general  manually, on paper, has such big cons (slower than typing, impossible to quickly search for something specific or easily edit the text like you can do in word documents)

the process of creative thinking and information retention is of much higher quality when you are doing it off screen. proven by studies, but you can easily notice the difference yourself

there are some workarounds around this, but they are limited

Maybe put an asterisk on each instance you need to access the internet and come back later for all of them together and get done with it.

yeah, that's a good tip, but using these excessively becomes a problem of its own. there's no perfect approach yet since OCR software is pretty shit

imagine filling entire notebooks or 50 A3 papers with notes and then having to manually look for some exact detail every 3 minutes

I was talking about internet restriction. Yes, completely blocking screen time is not viable if you want to be time efficient.

Back in the day you had to sit at PC that was noisy.

But now everything's wireless and you have internet on your cellphone while walking outside

That is how I stopped being the weirdo from 2002 who sits on the computer

The internet and social media advancing past the Myspace-era is the de facto worst thing to ever happen to the social fabric of society, the beginning of the end.

The irony is that Millennials are way worse off than Zoomers because Millennials actually remember the way life used to be, and grew up thinking the pre-9/11 world would be the one they'd inherit, only to end up spending 90% of their waking life behind a screen, unable to ever own a house and watching the remnants of society go to shit.

Zoomers on the other hand were born into it, much like the first generation after a nuclear fallout who've never seen the sun and don't know any better.
