We need to expand bookism.net [and here's how to do it] - brocode - 10-05-2023

most big social sites on the internet -- be it twitter, instagram, facebook, are heavily censored.
people are recognizing this and moving into smaller "pockets" of communities, away from big media sites, but still on "host platforms", like reddit, discord, etc. where these host platforms allow u to make ur own community, etc.

now what's happening is, people are realizing even these sites are heavily fed monitored shitholes with insane nuances of censorships and power and are on the lookout for alternatives. naturally, people are on the lookout for internet forums, where censorship is way less stringent.
this is a good explanation as to why cuckmaxx's growth has been insane this year, boosted by its tiktok fame.

here's comes a golden opportunity for bookism to grow and expand.
you see, unlike cuckmaxx, which is heavily centered around "who gets the hotter girl", bookism truly holds onto the "anything goes" shitty advice spirit, and that really is what people are looking for. a free uncensored anything-goes forum.
that is truly what people want.
a place where they can literally and genuinely discuss -- whatever they want.
there can be chaos management as the site grows, but for now 1 subforum is enough.

Alright so there is opportunity and its right there. So, what's stopping from bookism from growing?
In my opinion, there are 2 key problems with growing bookism,

  1. It is the UNEASE of the User Interface, which is a learning curve for most people coming off of reddit or twitter. it is very old school and does require u to get used to it.
  2. Very un-mobile friendly. most people use mobiles to post and check stuff on the go, and the truth is, bookism is not made for mobile, the formatting, the reading, its very un-mobile like and needs a haul.

Once these 2 issues have been addressed and fixed, I feel Bookism's exponential growth is inevitable.

This site will never "grow" because it was made to be of limited use, functionality, or of negligible purpose to begin with.

It's like expect a healthy fetus to become a strong baby & strong adult when they're grown under a flashlight with a bottle Coca-Cola, rather than in the highly nourishing, restful womb with high CO2, progesterone, & insane regenerativeness/stability.

No one here can even thoroughly explain WHAT BOOKISM IS, or WHAT BOOKISM IS TRULY FOR. So how can "it" grow?

Grow how? Not in any meaningful way at least. And no, the forum software is COPE. Make this site look like a million bucks & I'm pretty sure it will still be 3 AI accounts, an admin/bot, viewbots, & a few other lost causes along with sheep laughing at us.

Why did Looksmax.org grow? Probably due to the name, along with it being more strongly interconnected with the incel/blackpill sphere. Looksmaxxing is all the hype now, even for normies ... So Looksmax is getting a HUGE INFLUX of members, viewers, etc.

Bookism? It's a weak attempt at replicating Lookism, which quite clearly was held by strings together until its eventual collapse. You want Bookism to grow? A better idea is to END BOOKISM & turn the page, effectively enabling the focus on more meaningful projects.

Many people have decided, or the universe has decided, or some other force have you ... That this site is not of any importance. Many "members" here are selfish, aimless, hopeless & clueless. If for anything just shut this down & maybe try again a different way....

That is not completely not true. Not even in the slightest.
Looksmax.org's growth due to its name is very little, and it has to do more so with the fact that the genre of the forum -- a lookism replica where you can completely say and do whatever u want, that's totally new to people who are in fear and constantly double checking what they're saying out loud. it is a form of relief. that's the reason for growth.

However, they still ought to keep it related to "looks" and redpill stuff, because, well, due to the sheer volume of such threads, discussion thread unrelated to those topics simply get lost, just because most active users dont partake in discussion not related to redpill or chico.

bookism is inherently differently, everyone wants to genuinely add to the discussion and add their point of view. not in a literal sense but a metaphorical way but showing their presence and acknowledging these threads in other threads, creating a little community meta. it is very much "lookism" like.
