If wisdom is free/worth nothing on here, why is that? Does that make you cheap? - bookieboy - 09-05-2023 Why are some posters here called the "wisdom members" yet they are not entitled to anything more than the "shit posters?" In that case, why? Are "wisdom" or "valuable" members equally as valued as the "shit posting trolls?" So what is our social order here then? What explains why the "good" posters are knee deep in the wastelands just as the "bad" posters are? What is "status" then? I mean if you all here think the best posters deserve nothing more than the worst, then what value or purpose is in being the best? Perhaps you feel wisdom is granted by some, but you lack the capacity to reward it? Maybe you feel that nothing truly is useful since you are so beaten down & without hope in life that nothing really moves you? In that case, is your definition of "wisdom" truly grand? For some popular internet streamers, for example, their fans "support" them by contributing a dollar, some Bits, some "Thanks" or etc. But here you have a community that talks of "wisdom" & "great posters" yet feels these posters are not deserving of anything beyond the "shit posters." So if you see the wisdom posters & shit posters as the same, what's the actual merit for doing anything then? It'd be like saying a serial killer of young children is equally as valued as a healing specialist who spends 10+ hours a day curing people. Will you really stand up and tell someone they are really great & special, yet then walk away & provide them no support if in need? For that, why not just ignore these people since you cannot offer them anything for doing so-called "great" or "special" things? RE: If wisdom is free/worth nothing on here, why is that? Does that make you cheap? - bookieboy - 09-05-2023 Sasha Grey wants $1,500,000.00 U.S.D. a month for you to decide what content she uploads to her YouTube account. Many streamers are supported by a charity of viewers, i.e., their viewers/fans donate part of what becomes their income. SO people are indeed rewarding those they feel entertained them, provided "value" or something of that sort. So what is the difference between these people & those here who feel nothing is worth even a mere cent, even under the guise of supposed "greatness" or "value" it has brought them? Do any of you here pay for subscriptions, services, etc.? Donated ever to anything? What was the reasoning behind it? Many are sadly taken for a ride, never knowing where good money can go/where money can be made good. Most charities are scams who back up the rich & their legal tax evasion.
