within 5 years the next big tech will be 3D printing, im 99.99% sure of this. - Born2Mog - 09-04-2023

i haven't looked at the technology, but I just know/feel it to be true. This is my reasoning (please excuse my overgeneralized thinking about history):

- The popularity of technology happens in cycles. AI was something big in like ~2014? Then it just disappeared until this year. 3D printing was big circa 10 yrs ago. Its due.

So many hipster women are into making stuff and selling it on ETSY. Fermented foods n mason jars. My friend, early 20s redneck type sells racism dogwhistle symbols there. (more on this later) This is a tell it's about to go very mainstream. All we need is a technological push.

Most technology we use has actually already peaked and wouldn't be hard to standarize into a pdf or smth to be printed.  Pure mechanical mechanisms peaked 100+ yrs ago. Appliances peaked in the 1990s. The "legendary" microwaves, radios, heaters ect, the best of the best are all from that time.

ex. Literally the only thing that keeps people buying new gaming pcs is aggressive marketing + coding inefficency (ai will solve this). It's gonna be possible to make a "standard pc" for 200$ thats just fine and lasts 15 yrs in a hot minute.

ex. Traditional medcines manufacturing has peaked. 500 aspirin tablets for 1$. 10 antibiotic pills for 10 cents. Ect. The medical industry is banking on increasing sickness in population, pushing new technology, peptides (the price of a peptide making machine will go to ~1k dollars in 10 yrs btw), genetics ect

ex. Car tech peaked in the 1990s. These are the best of the best in the gasoline car. The panther platform, ladas, volvos, toyota, ect. All very simple, top quality mechanics, should last 1 million miles. The problem in maintaining these cars is the increasing scarcity of replacement parts (mostly simple, ie will be printable)

Because of this, to fuel consumers culture, companies are forced to make everything electronic and create other forms of imaginary value. (is there anything more RETARDED than spend extra 20k on car bc of "safety features" theory?)
LOL at smartguns.

The Problem is that ppl will get sick of this, it's an inevitable historical cycle.

People already are. It's mocked. Only retard 100k+ income city zoomers buy it. It's a divisive class feature to own something like a TESLA.

if you look at american history. First industrialization, then the arts and crafts movement of the 1890s, the nogstalgism, romanticism, local community ect pushback.

the 1920s, muh model T, muh radio, muh TV. Then the hippies movement, back to the land.

Now, computerization, social media, AI, ect. It's sooo due. The "blackpill is becoming mainstream" belief, is a narrowsighted view of the general new anti-society rebellion. The reason why people think everything is over, tech will win ect, is because

People are dumber now on average, they don't read, they don't talk to their parents, elders, community really. They lack historical perspecive.

also ppl love to cry and whine and be the victim, and im ~30% sure theres an agenda high up to push this a certain way.

There's always been a historical struggle between the POWERS using advancing organization/technology to dominate/control and the people using the same technology to be freeeee.

Let's just call this dialectical materialism, although i have reservations and am not a communist.

- Empires (rome, egypt, china) vs barbarism (nomads r awesome)

- the crossbow

- the cannon

- classic communism canon, the empires usurped by feudalists, the feudalists by capitalists

- the increasing complexity of state that allowed colonialism/imperialism and the people who used it to find frontiers and freedom.

- increasing complexity of cities and goverment and car/bike culture. CAR IS ALL AMERICAN! FUCK BUSSES AND FUCK TRAINS!

Yea. the increasing survellience, monitoring, mass indocrination with mind-rot tech will not last. It's not the "end of history" or whatever. New tech will decentralize everything.

3d printing will bring power to the people, along with AI, VR, Bitcoin??? ect will result in a massive cultural shift. NEW TRADITIONAL. SUSTAINABLE THINKING.

will destroy the over-consumer culture of amazon, International shipping, ect.

This will be justified ideaologically to a large extent with "enviroment, reducing shipping emissions", "CHINA IS EVIL", new nationalism/localism
(this is also a cycle, right wing win in 2015, leftism win 2019, right wing is coming back)

MARK MY WORDS, BY 2028 this will be front page headlines news and everyone will discuss it

Thoughts?
