radio waves have less energy than visible light, but they go through objects just fine. gamma rays, having the lowest wavelengths and the most energy, are at the other end of the spectrum, and they can easily go through walls and even lead. explain?

I need to know why my title says gamma waves instead of gamma rays and why so many sources say UV light is non-ionizing when, clearly, some of it is, in fact, ionizing

I also need to know how some animals are capable of seeing infrared or ultraviolet light!

the last thing is, how does electricity tie into all this? and magnets? why is it called the electromagnetic spectrum?
