wow this is like a mocking parody you would make

Very indicative of the sentience level of the average user there, but not surprised

Also never understood the "it's sooo hard to make friends after college" meme that redditors have popularized, like literally just go out? I don't even go out with the intention of making friends but people flock to me and wanna befriend me all the time lmao. Oh wait I forgot... f a c e

And I 100% am sure when a redditor says 'friend' they don't mean like actual/close friendship, someone with which you can confide anything in, have deep convos with, etc. They mean someone with whom you can discuss the latest Marvel film or exchange fedora-hat-making-tips. They don't make the distinction of fake vs real friend because they're not actually real themselves.

it's the same as any popsci media, the trashbin type information that nobody ever remembers because it has no utility

do they think that? weird. I've always held that friends after childhood are rarely genuine. they won't pass the test of time that's for sure

Yes. The "PRO LIFE TIP" about "make friends know while you're in school/university, because you won't be able to later!" I've seen like millions of reiterations of that even in the most random subreddits (like r/AnimalCrossing).

Literally only use reddit for the following two (2) reasons:

1) Post on nsfw subreddits and scam incels who message you
2) Go on r/sportsbook, see what team every redditor has "their entire life savings on," "this is 100% going to hit!," and just do the opposite

watermaxing is the real deal. i always remind people that they must be hydrated enough when they complain about something.
