it wasnt intended as a strawman but was intended to draw you out. I want you to elaborate your thoughts on what a reasonable timeline is for the availability of fossil fuels is
even if the rest of the world doesnt become 1st world besides china, they're still going to upgrade their lifestyles which will be oil intensive. no matter how you cut it, fossil fuels consumption is going to intensify in the future. so whats your timeline for all of this?

I don't believe the fossil narrative. whenever they say there's 'scarcity' suddenly another reserve of oil is miraculously found somewhere that theoretically shouldn't be. apparently Saudi Arabia is just closer by surface to the 'arteries' of the Earth or whatever it is
