Normies laugh loudly at "funny" movie scenes. They want to show everyone that they "get it"
But the scenes that are actually funny go completely over their heads. And when that happens, there's nothing better than to turn around and stare into their glazed-over, cattle-like faces, and know that you are, in almost every way, superior
Anyone that disagrees with me on this is just an offended laugh-faker

the laugh because the jokes are genuinely funny to them (they've been conditioned their entire lives on their comedic preferences)
on the other hand, aspies don't get the joke, but laugh anyways because they try to fit in and be normal
