RE: Is croatia warm and non humid - Altruist - 21-01-2023

yeah, it's snowing for the first time in like 10 years today

temperatures around new year are usually between 10 - 15 degrees

summers can suck, though

there are many scandinavians here, mainly retired people who buy real estate at the seashore to enjoy their last couple of years

my favorite part about my country are extremely low crime rates, though

Probably, but not as good as Bulgaria, Macedonia, north Greece. It probably rains a lot more in Croatia, and there is less sun.

If you go lower (Athens, islands etc) you have middle east climate with 0 rain and high heat in summer.

zagreb average precipitation is 840mm while thessaloniki is half that.

It's true that western balkans get a lot more rain that the eastern side.

he only asked about climate.

It makes sense for old ppl to go there when they are weak since cold can push them over the edge due to circulation being inhibited by cold.

but you dont wanna go to like some humid massivly hot place that will kill you as well if you are old

id consider moving to croatia in last years of my life(maybe) or a simialar climate
