lookism in the workplace - AntonioJuraz - 14-01-2023 today i was told your camera should always be on when in virtual meetings in order to "display your brand" to others. this seems like the starting step in acknowledging some people have advantages in their lives due to looks, what do you all think? i am sure i wouldn't get promoted and have everyone say good things about me if it wasn't for my looks. if my looks were any lower my life would be a 0/10 instead of the decent life i have now. so many girls, job opportunities, social opportunities, learning opportunities, etc, given to me cause of my looks. every day i consider how unfair this is to the world but at the same time wouldn't want it to change. the looksiarchy is good to me, why would i want it to change? do even ugly people want it to change? I think they just want you to have your camera on so they know that youre participating in the meeting and not just fucking around RE: lookism in the workplace - Honest - 14-01-2023 They made me CEO cos of my looks |
