my friend works in warehouse for one of the big delivery companies
typical number of packages processed in a day year round: 1200-2000
has been 2000+ for past few weeks
increased to 3800 yesterday and 3500 today.
so most packages aren't scanned as being at location, increasing percentage of packages being damaged
higher load strain for package delivery drivers
there are also gangs who use turbo manlets to sneak in through windows and vents every month or so
do yourself a favor and DNA something expensive

if so, it explains what happened to my package
ordered very expensive shoes from amazon but i will get a refund by nov 30th if they don't arrive
ideal case scenario they arrive december 1st, free $800 for me

USA, i'd imagine it's the same if you have black friday/christmas sales
expensive packages are segregated in the truck here, special paperwork
basically "steal me" sign
