It's not as bad looking at pics online – the reaction is usually like, "wow, respect, that guy doesn't skip leg day".

But I've seen a few guys irl who have huge quads. They've all been jogging along the road (probably rugby players), and when I saw them in the distance, I legit thought that they were some Klinefelter subhuman. But as they came closer, I realised that it was literally just big quads.

Legs are the one muscle that natties can grow a lot. And a lot of Redditor-type people take pride in having big legs and a strong squat - "I'm not vain like the other boys, I train for functionality!" Nah, you just look like utter shit.

"Big quads make your waist look smaller". Yeah, which isn't a good thing, because you end up looking like a bottom heavy woman. 

I've seen it pulled off once irl, and that was by a brick-skulled, wide-framed, large-boned jock that went to my school, and now plays professional rugby. That's the only way that someone can look good with huge legs (if they already have a wide waist, wide frame, big bones, stocky build etc.).

I have the impression that when people with big quads walk they resemble stood-up gorillas walking (in the range of motion of their steps and the way they carry themselves).

I find them badlooking on pics too

Pointless to train legs more than occasionally imo. It's better to focus on ass muscle and core exercises

Image is probably fake/edited (if that's what you're referring to) but you can get them really big naturally
