it's not anonymous because blockchain transactions are transparent, however bitcoin adressess are not connected to your physical identity, hence the used term "pseudonymous" meaning "falsely named"

If someone used a VPN and then committed terrorist offenses, would you say he's safe from the CIA?
The government always has the most powerful hacking software, that is why it's called government.
Therefore I don't believe the claims that BTC is a foolproof mask.

He can be discovered by the authorities.
