not if your hands are occupied by tools or are wet/dirty, or you need to store your phone away to avoid damage

I need one

My computer doesn't tell the time and it's a hassle reaching over to the phone to get a look at the time

A lot of popular high end watches lately are ugly but people pretend they are good.

Such as the boring ass shape of the Audemars-Piguet

Luxury watches are sold on the premise of workmanship artistry etc, but those guys with the loupes and tweezer are just normal people by all accounts and appearances. It would make sense to have a 100 dollar watch if the designer and builder were some kind of giga autist of the 1700s, but most watches now are designed by computers and built by brown or off white hands. For redundancy or convenience a 10 dollar casino is more useful, robust, reliable, than every rolex on the planet

Yeah I don't buy that the modern watch is hand built by the Swiss

It's probably 3d printed, especially the TRASH TIER brands like Jacob & Co. which are among the most expensive.

My knowledge about horology is from subscribing to Robb Report magazine in year 2005

What's up with those prices you mentioned though, the one I saw in 2005 that sparked my interest was the Jaeger-LeCoultre Gyrotourbillon for like $700,000

what about when you pour liquor on your watch at the club and post it on ig and plastic sluts flood your dms. or does that not happen. personally like the bimbo aesthetic tbh.

Some dude on the beach in Marbella in 2024 wouldn't leave me alone with his Replica Highend Watches. It was very tough to get rid of him.

I had that big incident in 2016 where my Franck Muller was seized by customs and I haven't attempted a purchase since
