i spent more time studying and reading than talking to people on coffees, parties etc, tbh. it's the absence of aversion to it + the fact i'll get 20 x the knowledge than most other people if we invest the same amount of time in it that makes a difference

i can spend my entire day studying/researching something im interested in, but when it comes to school even 15 minutes of studying feels like torture

because the former isn't really studying/researching but you skimming through materials too feel smart about yourself, with the neat addition of never having to get your acquired "knowledge" externally tested

had a birthday party of a kid from my extended family and talked to my cousin about her trip to india

she says it was a 10/10 experience and that she was treated like deity for being white
