My father was an alcoholic (at peak pretty much the same tier as yourself) and the reason why he stopped (or actually tried) was because he realized he was pretty much actively ruining my life at the time (alongside my mother), long story short eventually the extreme withdrawal symptoms had taken him to a hospital, that was the breaking point where his side of the family got involved and rehab eventually got him sober.

Considering your mother does not seem like a huge factor in you getting sober, and you don't have any kids or a wife I think you dropping your job and going to rehab (like the whole rehab spa center) is your best bet.
