without reading your essay, if you want the physics-oriented take on this, read krauss' why is there something rather than nothing. some insight into the difference between early and late wittgenstein's "ramblings" wouldn't hurt too

it's not that it's full of equations, but you won't get a deeper understanding of the underlying physics as a layman
tldr; nothing is something, and man-made concepts and words are only useful to an extent; their existence and the meaning we attributed to them don't automatically extend to higher level of existence than ours, which is one of weaponized monkeys/niggers
