i don't know where you are getting the idea that Christianity should offer solutions and purpose, nowhere in the Bible or Nag Hammadi (gnostic gospels) purpose is pointed, if you actually read anything it's just saying that we are fucked and have no purpose which is why Nietszche had a mental breakdown
