but stereotypes are founded on some level of truth, and there's this common sentiment globally. i think biggest problem would be food smell as i have experience with this in the states as well. i used to live next to an indian family where the houses were distanced pretty far apart, but the spices they used would linger in the air OUTSIDE for hours. i couldn't imagine how bad it would be if this took place in an apartment complex

The thing is Malaysian Chinese and especially Malays eat curry too lol
Yes there a bad actors obviously from my race but in Malaysian culture it is absolutely not exclusive to us at all. Malay cuisine is heavy in curries too.
As for the bad behavior stuff, it's really not that common in my Area. My dad owns multiple houses ( in another state, the current house within this one is still being built ) and he has never had trouble with any of them. There was one dirty tenant but he was a foreigner ( Japanese-American I think ) so I won't count it.
That being said the problem is not that big of a deal tbh and is slowly dying out anyways. My current landlord is a Chinese guy too.

lul, there are some seriously rich people in China, my friend ( Native Chinese ) spends a ridiculous amount on his Counter Strike inventory alone.

yup especially if they're chinese citizens trying to safeguard their money and investments overseas from the ccp. very meticulous about their money
even FOB chinese i've encountered. as opposed to other ethnic groups that come to the west to build their futures, it's like most of them already have money beforehand

Yeah investment or retirement really.
A lot of them retire here in Malaysia ( Johor specifically ) and Singapore due to high standard of living + similar culture to China.

or the middle east and india
both hypothetical populations are genetically/culturally closer to one another than the chinese are to indians. you can't expect two completely different races to get along jfl
