SOCIAL ANXIETY at work.

Do you get it when entering work, or do you get it when you have to interact with other people?

Both when entering work n when I have to interact with colleagues n also even if i'm not interacting with colleagues i still feel anxious just by being around them.

I don't feel anxious around everyone though. Out of 50 colleagues I feel relaxed n comfortable around 5 or 6 of them , but anxious around 45 of them.

The worst anxiety is at breakfast n lunch. I have to sit in the breakroom n eat around others then, my hands are always shaking while im holding my sandwich n cup of coffee .
Talk to everyone you see. You have to get over the anxiety. If you face whatever the root cause is your brain will get used to social interaction.

I don't think talking to everyone at work is a good idea bro, many of them are NORMIES i have nothing in common with. I always hear them talk shit about other colleagues behind their backs

That might be the root cause, the fact that i noticed many colleagues loves to gossip n talk shit behind others back, this makes me anxious n worried that they are propably also talking shit about me behind my back (since its their "thing" to always talk about others so that means they likely do about me aswell)

So you are worried that you'll be judged for your actions? You think they'll dislike you even though all you are doing is being yourself.

Yes , but not only judged for my actions. I'm also worried they judge me as a person , my character.

For example I am a quiet n introverted man , i talk very little. That makes me worried that they see me as "that weird guy who's always quiet" or something. I know NORMIES can be VERY judgemental against quiet introverts. Introverts are seen as "weird" or "creeps" by NORMIES. There's a stigma against Introverts in society.

I worry that because i'm not as "normal" as others, that they might judge me n think i'm "weird".

Or that they gonna judge me for my inceldom, i'm 26 and have no girlfriend while others at work are either married or in relationships. Most of my colleagues are middle aged or old  but even the ones who are my age have girlfriends while i don't . So I'm not on their level when it comes to STATUS.

There have been several occasions at work when NORMIES asked me "why don't have you a gf?" and "you don't want a girlfriend? " "why do you live alone?" "it's not good to live alone" etc. Basically gaslighting me for my inceldom

It's human nature to judge, and it's made worse but society. Life isn't meant to be lived this way. Don't worry about what others think. If you don't speak a lot you have to make it count when you do.

Yeah that's the thing I'm not into small talk. Others at work are very into boring small talk. A lot of them are ONLY doing small talk or ONLY talk about work all day . Many of them TALK ABOUT WORK  much more than they are actually working

I'm too depressed to join in those boring small talk conversations they are having constantly

They sound like npcs. You're better off not engaging. I don't talk to people at work who only talk about work. I will change the subject or ignore them.
