The acceptance of abstract art by the public shows the vast majority of humanity are dangerously suggestible. All it took was some pbs documentaries and grade school indoctrination to cement Picasso's world status as an artistic genius.
All abstract art comes from a shameless or delusional person word salading his way into the minds of midwits. Please have an argument against this that isn't midwits cope. It's just sales and marketing. How were all of these brilliant post modern artists at the turn of the century discovered? They were not, they had existing academic or business networks where their wares were circulated and until they found their mark through mass media
All abstract art is just about persuading midwits that you aren't smart unless you like turds in a can or can't grasp the mind shattering brilliance and commentary behind selling a blank canvas for millions.

Why would people scam? Why would people unfairly promote garbage above merit? And why is this such a widespread phenomenon that is concentrated in institutions of cultural and political influence?
