recently i saw a thing about dutch sailors being trapped in korea in the 17th century (because korea was isolationist and wouldnt let anyone leave their country). and the emperor entertained himself by making the dutchmen perform "songs and dances from their homeland".....
which made me think: none of us could perform dances from our homeland now. we just dont dance anymore. it's so sad. a danceless culture...

back in uni, every ethnics had a special ethnic dance that they all knew, like turks, kurds, turkmens etc
except us Persians and may i point out we were the extreme minority for some reason
