Trump announced some crypto reserve plans - n9wiff - 03-03-2025

Don't know what it means at all technically but the market does respond toe motion so I bought some ETH and XRP this morning

RE: Trump announced some crypto reserve plans - Altruist - 03-03-2025

yeah, and cryptards are unironically celebrating it despite having been claiming crypto is the real deal because it allows you to btfo government surveillance over your transactions

Cage

been reading about it and cringing hard this morning

btw, i told pp and others this would happen 2-3 years ago - the only possibility of blockchain and cryptos becoming fully legit is their adoption of the government in one form or another, which is completely contrary to their initial purpose. it wasn't evident to me because i was a genius, but because it was extremely easy to predict it.

there are 9-5 guys (and neets) out there really believing the entire society is gonna re-class itself, with wealth and power being redistributed in their favor just because they found a good post on some obscure internet forum early enough, motivating them to buy crypto when it was affordable, all that at while the elites (people and companies who own trillions in assets, including banks, investment funds, arms-producing factories, and control the puppets that are elected politicians) are watching and clapping, saying "nice job, guys, you really got us this time". holy iq.

yep, what you read in a media article written by a student on minimum wage is definitely the full story. holy grasping at straws, lmao.

your desperate attempt at coping is equivalent to saying everyone on wall street is a retard because you can invest in companies from countries with worthless national currencies, lmfao.

Quote:More than an hour later, Trump added: "And, obviously, BTC and ETH, as other valuable Cryptocurrencies, will be at the heart of the Reserve."

Giggle

sole mention of the government creating crypto reserves means the real goal is taking the control over the entire thing. but i know you'll, in no time, be telling yourself and others this only means that even the state admitted crypto is "legit", and that's where it stops Giggle

Crypto is the most retarded shit, literal video game currency, it will be the end of Drumpf.

RE: Trump announced some crypto reserve plans - Busty Doll - 03-03-2025

I've always seen a connection between the Drumpf and the BTC phenomenon

Both are immense nonsense but we are told: "If numerous millions vote for them, it doesn't have to make sense."

The contrived reasons people come up with to explain why its valuable are hilarious. The value only skyrocketed in the first place because of tor drug markets, starting with silk road ofc

Lol @ the gymnastics people do to basically say "its good because you can buy drugs and cp with it" because otherwise there's 0 reason not to just use your credit card

exactly. my point made in a readable way.

i get it when it's some retarded secluded clown shilling for it, but seeing pp, an obviously smart guy, doing the same is legit sad

also, to generalize the topic ... i don't understand why are people whose most significant transaction in the first 35 or so years of their lives is buying a TV or a laptop so concerned with their privacy and so insistent that they don't want the banks/the government/institutions in general know what they are doing with their money. such a weird psychological phenomenon. nobody fucking cares about your purchase of an i-phone or weekly groceries shopping, lmfao. and i say this as an overly cautious person.

yeah that aspect is odd to me, but a lot of cryptotards are obsessed with this shit. which is kind of paradoxical because exchanges/buying crypto requires you to fucking literally upload a picture of your face next to your ID with specific text scribbled on it, due to the nature of it being impossible to reverse a transaction.. btc atm's are the only exception to this

one time a guy gave me 10k in crypto (worth 100k now, lmao) to do that exact thing so he could get 100k out of an exchange. legit paid me 10k to use my id instead of his... fucking odd

yeah, i linked the uk rules on KYC in that other thread as an explanation how laughable kath's (i think) claim that they can't track you, real you, down just from your transactions. flew over pp's head, predictably, and he slapped me with some nonsense about the us jurisdiction in response to that. sad. pussy and easy money lower people's iq by 2 sds in an instant

because it was unrelated to the point i was making? (retard)

i'm arguing it is currently possible for criminals to use certain decentralised services to evade AML regulations. im not saying that this is a good or desirable thing. it came about because I feel an intense desire to correct you when you start confidently running your mouth on topics you have zero knowledge on and no intention of understanding beyond what can be used to disingenuously frame someone as wrong in a debate
