there is without a doubt that messi and cristiano are battling for the goat status
its not even close
only ronaldinho in his peak could battle with them for goat status but he had zero longevity

how is he statistically tha best, players like kroos kdb modric have more assists and higher forawrd passing accuracy
id put someone like kaka or zidane on 10 because they can do more things than assist, especially kaka who had crazy pace and was top scorer for milan in many seasons
