Something similar happened to me because I made some LARP thread about having knowledge on several foids on the forum with registered accounts
( Did it to advertise some guys discord server, it worked and we like tripled the user base just because of this )
Had people PMing me begging for their identities
And eventually I got banned and a mod tried to blackmail me, saying that if I don't give up their identities I'd be banned forever.
