whats the point of the "life pro tips" subreddit? - Altruist - 17-03-2023 99% of tips posted there are "if you are thirsty, drink water" tier Do those retards feel useful and like they are contributing by posting such banal "tils" RE: whats the point of the "life pro tips" subreddit? - Altruist - 17-03-2023 Wrong subforum RE: whats the point of the "life pro tips" subreddit? - kathisterima - 17-03-2023 never heard of it you seem very well versed on random shitty subreddits so I'm sure you are correct in your assessment RE: whats the point of the "life pro tips" subreddit? - Altruist - 17-03-2023 (17-03-2023, 02:12 AM)kathisterima Wrote: never heard of it I joined it assuming i could read something useful here and there Very stupid of me RE: whats the point of the "life pro tips" subreddit? - Born2Mog - 17-03-2023 Quote:LPT: If your pet is dying, be mentally prepared to have them humanely euthanized at the veterinary hospital in a quick manner.wow this is like a mocking parody you would make RE: whats the point of the "life pro tips" subreddit? - Altruist - 17-03-2023 (17-03-2023, 06:16 PM)Born2Mog Wrote:Quote:LPT: If your pet is dying, be mentally prepared to have them humanely euthanized at the veterinary hospital in a quick manner.wow this is like a mocking parody you would make brutal, lmao RE: whats the point of the "life pro tips" subreddit? - AlbanianLegend1994 - 17-03-2023 Very indicative of the sentience level of the average user there, but not surprised Also never understood the "it's sooo hard to make friends after college" meme that redditors have popularized, like literally just go out? I don't even go out with the intention of making friends but people flock to me and wanna befriend me all the time lmao. Oh wait I forgot... f a c e And I 100% am sure when a redditor says 'friend' they don't mean like actual/close friendship, someone with which you can confide anything in, have deep convos with, etc. They mean someone with whom you can discuss the latest Marvel film or exchange fedora-hat-making-tips. They don't make the distinction of fake vs real friend because they're not actually real themselves. RE: whats the point of the "life pro tips" subreddit? - vicious cycle - 17-03-2023 it's the same as any popsci media, the trashbin type information that nobody ever remembers because it has no utility RE: whats the point of the "life pro tips" subreddit? - vicious cycle - 17-03-2023 (17-03-2023, 06:46 PM)AlbanianLegend1994 Wrote: never understood the "it's sooo hard to make friends after college" meme that redditors have popularized, like literally just go out? I've always held that friends after childhood are rarely genuine. they won't pass the test of time that's for sure RE: whats the point of the "life pro tips" subreddit? - AlbanianLegend1994 - 17-03-2023 (17-03-2023, 07:07 PM)vicious cycle Wrote:(17-03-2023, 06:46 PM)AlbanianLegend1994 Wrote: never understood the "it's sooo hard to make friends after college" meme that redditors have popularized, like literally just go out? I don't even go out with the intention of making friends but people flock to me and wanna befriend me all the time lmao. Oh wait I forgot... f a c e Yes. The "PRO LIFE TIP" about "make friends know while you're in school/university, because you won't be able to later!" I've seen like millions of reiterations of that even in the most random subreddits (like r/AnimalCrossing). Literally only use reddit for the following two (2) reasons: 1) Post on nsfw subreddits and scam incels who message you 2) Go on r/sportsbook, see what team every redditor has "their entire life savings on," "this is 100% going to hit!," and just do the opposite RE: whats the point of the "life pro tips" subreddit? - Altruist - 19-03-2023 (19-03-2023, 10:02 AM)missingmaxilla Wrote: drink water theory honestly is the only legit lifemaxx. redditors are in the know watermaxing is the real deal. i always remind people that they must be hydrated enough when they complain about something.
