where can I go and study from midnight to 7 am? - kathisterima - 21-01-2023
I have exams at 8am, and the trip from my city to uni is 3 hours, and that means I get there at 9 if I take the earliest bus.
I don't wanna pay 40 euros for airbnb just to sit for a few hours to give 1 exam, it's too much money.
So I think of going there the day before with the last bus and staying for 7 hours somewhere and just studying.
Where could I go at that time? Libraries are all closed by midnight. Should I just sit on a bench or a bus stop for 7 hrs?

dont you have libraries open 24/7 specifically for this purpose
the national one near my ex-university was available at night, you just had to reserve a spot the day before

no they close, the general reading library shuts down at 2 am
also uni area is filled with junkies at night because police are not allowed to enter
same for bus and train station, filled with junkies, not a good place to be
also I thought about the internet cafe, it's probably gonna cost me more than an airbnb to stay there for 7 hours

i mean it will also be filled with people trying to study, so u wont have any problem unless its overcrowded or something due to exam season

I talked to some ppl and they told me during exam period its open all day
hopefully, its got empty seats because last time I went there it was filled
not only that but in the few empty seats they left items to "save them" for their friends who were in the cafeteria or wherever. So scummy lol.

have thought about this here, since a place where you could charge your phone/sit/not freeze would be ideal. but nothing's open 24/7 aside from internet cafes
