however im paranoid and also I feel like if I made connections with you guys IRL then I would have to self-censor what I post here. I just feel uncomfortable speaking freely about stuff without some layer of anonymity

It's kinda out of my comfort zone because I'm posting behind the layer of anonymity here, idk if I could get away with behaving the same way irl with my looks. But I still offered to meet some PSL users irl despite then refusing.

that would break my heart. im extremely sensitive to any kind of social rejection because ive experienced it so often, consequently I dont reach out socially to people 99% of the time because I dont want to create an opportunity to be rejected

it wasn't like a legit rejection, I just put it out there that I was in the city and we could hang out if they wanted to
but I feel you, I have rejection trauma too, but I'm dealing with it better nowadays
