ive always thought comic books were soy af - lonelyjak - 20-11-2022

even before I became politically aware I just had this weird aversion to comics. its like im allergic to anything normie or soy. its not some new schtick that I picked up from 4chan over the past few years, ive always been this way. I just have this uncanny ability to detect anything thats subversive and feel a natural repulsion to it, years and years before it ever becomes apparent

if youre reading this then obviously you also have this gift to varying degrees as well, otherwise you wouldnt be at lookism to begin with

people who read comics are 35-year-old redditors who have a programming job and are in an open relationship with some landwhale with an OF acc.

have you always felt this kind of odd, slimy, social engineering motive behind comic books? this is how ive always perceived them, even before I could fully articulate this feeling. comic books have always felt like propaganda to me, pushing the latest, stupid current cause. this of course dovetails perfectly with the reddit mindset

youre a codefag too right?

ngl, this is also probably why I have problems socializing. overt aspie behavior aside (which im guilty of sometimes), I subconsciously detect hardcore NPCs and send out "fuck you" vibes to them which they in turn detect and then shun me in some fashion

you guys are right, I wasnt being specific enough. when I was talking about comics I had marvel/DC stuff in mind, not classics like tintin, archie etc. I only got that strong repulsion towards marvel/DC comics, I never felt that way towards other comics
